Johnny Gleeson, twice nominated Dj/Artist of the year and Recipient of Oz Music’s Legend of Music award, is the Dj and driving force behind the trio, bringing years of experience performing internationally , having held residencies at Pacha (Ibiza) and Home, Marquee and Tank nightclubs during their Heydays in the Sydney clubbing Landscape.
His production graces record labels, Toolroom (UK), MOS (UK), Pacha (IBZ), Newlite (NYC) and Effin (USA) with his own Label “MODIFII” Launching Sept 2018. Remixes from Paolo Mojo, Mark Knight, Dave Spoon, Robbie Rivera, Hoxton Whores, multiple features on Pete Tongs essential selection, lay further claim to the respect he commands abroad.
Paul Wheeler up front (trumpet /keys), Brings a wealth of Musical talent to the stage and lays the sexy minimal Jazzy elements that are the feature of every Binary Performance, with an onstage presence that help bring every dancefloor together as one.
In the last 18 months Binary have rocked dancefloors right around Australia, Ibiza (Esp), Macau and China with bookings almost a year in advance worldwide, and have been the talking point at supports with Mark Knight, Basement Jaxx, Boy George, Roger Sanchez, Felix the House cat, Chicane, Dave Seaman, Purple Disco machine, Dimitri from Paris, Norman Jay, David Penn, Sandy Rivera etc. Their ability to customise their trademark deeper sound to fit any musical style and the Hype they bring to the advertised lineup has made them an essential support to every major Café Del Mar Sydney event to date.
